About Scholarships at TEAM
TEAM University is pleased to offer a variety of Tuition Scholarships, which are aimed to reward eminent achievement, provide financial support to those in need and help assure that fears about finance do not restrain prospective students from considering study at TEAM University (Policies of Scholarships are in the process of development).
TEAM University offers 4 types of Scholarships:
- Hackathon Scholarships for entry-level (freshman) students;
- Merit-based Scholarships;
- Company-sponsored Scholarships;
- State Scholarships;
Hackathon Scholarships
Hackathon Scholarships will be distributed among entry-level (freshman) students, applying for the Autumn Intake 2022, who will take 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the Hackathon competition.
At TEAM, Hackathon is a 48-hour marathon of building, creating, producing, and delivering a business/startup idea in a short amount of time, in which every team, consisted of 4 people needs to develop a product from scratch within set time period. Each participating team will be supervised and mentored by experienced entrepreneurs as well as business experts. After 48 hours, each team will have to present their developments, which will be evaluated by a committee, including successful entrepreneurs and businessmen of Uzbekistan, as well as TEAM co-founders Zafar Khashimov, Hikmat Abdurahmanov, Muzaffar Kasimov and others.

The total number and dates of Hackathon competition events for 2023 is going to be announced soon!
Note that before each Hackathon competition the briefing with event’s agenda and rules will be organized for participants (the dates of both briefing meetings will be reported on the website, as well as on the TEAM’s social media profiles).
Eligible participants – only entry-level (freshman) students of TEAM.
Venue of both events – TEAM University Campus (146 Temur Malik Str., Yashnabad Dist., Tashkent, Uzbekistan).
Merit-based Scholarships
TEAM University offers a number of Merit-based Scholarships for students with outstanding academic achievement. Merit-based Scholarships will be distributed among students, who study at TEAM in 2-nd, 3-rd and 4-th year of studies according to their academic performance from each past academic year.
Top 2% of all students will receive 100% Merit-based Scholarship. Top 4% of all students will receive 50% Merit-based Scholarship.
Eligible participants – only 2-nd, 3-rd and 4-th year students of TEAM.
Merit-based Scholarships will be distributed as follows:

Company-sponsored Scholarships
TEAM University Company-sponsored Scholarships are designed to recognise and reward full-time TEAM students for high academic achievement, social engagement and talents.
TEAM University provides a range of Company-sponsored Scholarships with partial or full coverage of the Tuition Fees. The award of such scholarships is at the discretion of the Selection Panel, assigned by the relevant Company Organization.
List of companies, which will sponsor candidates within the Company-scholarships competition is planned to be announced in August, 2023.
Eligible participants – all level students of TEAM.

State Scholarships
TEAM University State Scholarships are sponsored by Governmental Agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan to recognise and reward freshmen TEAM students for high academic achievement and social engagement.
State Scholarships cover full amount (100% scholarship) of the Tuition Fee for 4 consecutive years of studies. The award of such scholarships is at the discretion of the Governmental Selection Panel, assigned by the relevant Governmental Agency. Candidates will need to pass a special mathematics exam, which is planned to be conducted in September, 2023. More detailed information regarding the selection criteria will be uploaded on TEAM official social media accounts, as Telegram, Instagram, Facebook etc.
